UK Family History 
This site is intended for anyone researching their family history. Much of the early research can be done very cheaply - even for nothing, this is the purpose of this site - directing researchers to free and useful websites.
I started my family history research over 20 years ago and most of my research was done in libraries and the county archive office. Someone kindly gave me copy of the Mormon's International Genealogical Index (IGI) for my surname - it seemed like mana from heaven!
Now there is so much available on the internet the task has become much easier.
If you are just starting out on this hobby I have to warn you that it can take over your life!
